    Hi All,

I have to work on Xamarin Studio 6.3 for development of iOS application. So, let me know whether macOS Sierra would be compatible or I should opt for OS X El Capitan? Moreover, can anyone please suggest me that the above mentioned OS and RAM of 8 GB will work for Xamarin Studio to run smoothly?

As you can see here: https://developer.xamarin.com/guides/cross-platform/getting_started/requirements/

Operating System OS X El Capitan (10.11) or macOS Sierra The minimum required version is OS X El Capitan (10.11).

The biggest issue caused by staying on 10.11 is your inability to use Xcode 8.3 If you build with the static registrar (either on iOS or macOS) and linking disabled, then things may break. This is more likely to occur on Xamarin.Mac release builds (as it is the default configuration), but you can work around it by passing an mmp argument.

I don't believe 10.11 or 10.12 will drastically affect the performance of Xamarin Studio.

For what it's worth, I've upgraded an old machine to macOS Sierra and have not had any trouble running Xamarin Studio or Visual Studio for Mac.
