Restore database service-managed error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a database backup from sql server 2012 in Azure storage. If I restore backup to sql server installed on a Azure virtual machine it works OK but I restore backup to Azure database service-managed it works with error: "No backup selected to be restored".

    Please could you help me?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Thanks for your answer but it doesn´t work.

If I execute the command  RESTORE FILELISTONLY FROM URL  (after create credentials), an Error occurs: "Operating system error 12002 (failed to retrieve text for this error. Reason: 317)."

  • Hi

Please convey the access level on your storage account from Firewall and Network tab under storage account.

Just for testing( if it is not already), Please select access from all networks and save it and then try to restore.

Please check this and get back to us.
