How to release manually Win8 app with scheduled release in the future? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've sent to certification new Window 8 app and selected scheduled release to 1st of July, the app passed the certification, but what if I want to publish it earlier? I can see no button for this, only "view the report", "cancel the release" and "Go to dashboard".

Why there is no option to hold the release and publish it manually anytime I want?

  • For any changes regarding your app,

You should cancel the release and resubmit it again for certification again.

You can "Add a Note to Tester" mentioning that only there is a  change in "Release Date" so that your app will certify quickly.

  • Thanks for the answer, still I do think adding button "Release now" will be much easier for developers.
