Unable to register my 2008 MS visual Studio

    Question

  • I wanted to install SP1 and I knew that I have to register first. I went to help and clicked on "Register" I went somewhere, but there was nothing to start registering.  Anybody can give some advices

  • Big thanks to Weiwwei. He provide me the link to MS VS 2008 Express. After I did that my professional version  started to work fine. I do not need to upgrade to PS1 or register any more, because, I just needed SP1 and register it, thinking that would fix the problem.  Thanks everybody tried to help.

  • It is genuine version.  The thing is I bought from MS in 2008 and it is now 8 years old.  I want to install it in my windows 7.  Windows 7 is also genuine.

    Hi Allen,

    The VS 2008 register page is no longer available. This is because VS2008 has out of life cycle from 9/4/2013. The online registration link is not live any longer.

    Please install the Visual Studio 2008 Express ALL-IN-One from below link, which doesn't need to be registered.
