Search for data in vb.net

Hi i need help on a search form that i want to create in vb.net , the project is an accounting program and the table of accounts and names could be very long so i need to search for specific names that begin with specific letters,  i intend to create a form with a textbox and a gridview and when i write few letters in the textbox all the names that begin with these letters will be loaded to the gridview.

please help me on this and thanks very much.

You can use Like operator in Select statement to choose the names starting with specific characters. See the following URLs:
