Windows Consumer Preview Questions in This Forum

Question

At this point, we know that the Windows 8 Consumer Preview will be available to download in less than a week. Will this forum be meant for questions about the Consumer Preview or is it for questions about the Developer Preview build only? At this point, this is the only general Windows 8 forum that I know of, and Microsoft provides the shortened URL http://win8.ms/forums to access this forum. It is titled "Windows Developer Preview: General OS questions," but so far, it has been the forum for general Windows 8 discussion. Will that discussion continue on this forum for the Consumer Preview or will there be a separate forum for Consumer Preview questions?

I had already seen that thread when I created this post. The other thread doesn't answer my question. That thread is a discussion, while this is a question.

I also share your curiosity, yesterday I tried looking for Windows7 Beta Forum, couldn't find it, some but not all of the Qs posted on the forum exist under Windows7 Misc. header.

Hi again, Windows7Vista567,

one thing we keep forgetting, is that since the WDP expiry date has been extended till 2013, this forum will continue to entertain questions beyond the release of Consumers Preview or the two may be merged to form Windows Consumer/Developer Preview: General OS questions. However, a separate forum coexisting with the present one is the best guess one can make.
