What is the size of large object heap (LOH)? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

What is the size of large object heap (LOH)?

This size is fixed or is somehow computed by CLR?

    Regards

  • The LOH will continually grow as you allocate more large objects (up to memory limits per process for your OS).  There is no fixed size.

  • Hi Friend,
As per my knowledge, any allocation of memory which is more than 64K will got to large object heap.

  • I am not asking when objects are allocated on LOH. I am asking about size of LOH.
