  • Expression Design supports exports for .gif files, but it won't make 'animated' GIF's.  You will need another program to do the animation part.  There's an old free Microsoft GIF Animator™ available that you might try; it's pretty basic and no longer supported by MS   Download here: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/12053

Start with setting up Crop Marks within Expression Design to define your animation size.  Create or fit your 'pictures' within this space; suggest using separate layers that you can turn on and off for each.  Export each frame separately as a .gif.  In the MS Animator pgm. open the first frame, then add each additional frame and save from there as an amimated gif.

There are other animators available (Live Search™ is your friend) both free and commercial that will utilize other graphics file formats that Expression Design supports.

    Have Fun!
