Publish Application - WCF RIA RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

How I can publish my WCF RIA in a server and my App Web in other server and call from my application the WCF RIA. I don´t want that my WCF RIA is a dll.

  • Hi

As Yann said in this thread:

    separate my own RIA Service

If you're talking about a RIA service that you've created in your LightSwitch project's solution, then you can't deploy it to a separate website. LightSwitch does all the hard work to make it all "just work" when you let it deploy the service for you.

On the other hand, like Paul was getting at, if you've published a RIA service to some particular web server (completely unrelated to your LightSwitch project), then you can use LightSwitch's attach to external data source functionality to connect to it that way.
