Issue with merged cells and a matrix in my group footer causing table cell widths to expand RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm running VS2008 and have the following issue:

I have a lovely looking rdlc with a table and a number of columns. I am grouping the data so that I get nice clean page breaks after 25 rows. Withing the group footer I have a matrix which provides a page total of some of the columns. The matrix resides in a merged cell.

It seems that because of the matrix in the merged cell and when some of the columns are not visible I get an issue where the width of the columns in the table is stretched so that the full screen layout is taken up. I want the columns to hold their size and not stretch.

Anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it as it's beginning to drive me a bit insane now?

Only option i think i have is to produce multiple reports based on the different column selections that I might have, but this seems a bit long winded to me.

    Any help gratefully accepted :-)

    Old Beno..
