    Hi I am currently working with the Cascading Drop Down Extender. 

    I have a webservice which populates quite nicely.  My only question is how would I control the population of the first drop down, without postback to the server possibly through a button onclick event?

    Hi Kenai,

    I think the easiest way to achieve this is add a fake DropDownList and hide the first DropDownList.When click the Button, we use Javascript to change the hidden DropdownList's selected item accordion to the fake one.
