  • Hello ,

    I am between office 365 or Setting up an exchange server 2010 for my small business.

    I want to know about the cost of the license /per user for exchange so i can compare and find out what is best for me.

    I would appreciate any help.

    Accourding to your requirement if your are planning for Exchange server 2010 on premise  its better you can choose exchange server 2010 standard since its a small business setup and below are the answers for your questions

    you'll be limited to 5 mailbox databases per mailbox server and the direct answer to your question (per user for exchange )would be no, since there is no limit to the number of accounts you can have as many number of users. 

    Microsoft recommends to keep each database  @ 100GB  if its without HA DAG

    But keeping the database to 2TB maximum is recommended by microsoft and best practice if you have DAG/HA implemented. 

    But until 16 TB is supported for standard.
