  • General discussion

  • As I understood, the dlls in clientbin are downloaded to client, right? where do the files saved? are users able to use reflector to see my code?

    Thanks.

  • As with any code or markup that goes to the workstation (going all the way back to VB3 and other unrelated languages), an intelligent and curious user will always be able to figure out how to look at your code.

If you truly have something unique or some algorithm you want to keep secret, you can package that up behind a web service and simply make calls from the client.

Code on the client is usually a non-issue, unless you have some sort of authentication hard-coded in your app. Most code is not as unique or as valuable as we all like to think it is :)

  •  Well I was wondering if anyone has come up with their own methods of hiding code?

Keep it on the server is one.

What about just make it difficult?

    Any ideas?
