see what the previous activity is. RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

i'm new to WF, but I want to create a sequential workflow with al kind of activities.
In this workflow I want to pass some data between the activities. I know how to that. But the problem is that I have to enter manually the name of the previous activity in the attributes.

Is there any solution that you can follow the connection to see what the name is of the previous or next activity?

  • I am not sure how you are passing data between activities but I can explain in brief:

There are two ways to pass data between activities:

    1. Design and Runtime - Bind the dependency property of one property to another property on an activity or workflow.
        See http://www.devx.com/codemag/Article/36317/0/page/6
    2. Runtime - Find an activity from the activity tree.
