Error: "We couldn't get data from the Data Model ... 'Key1' is one of the reserved words RRS feed

  • Question

  • Excel 365 Pro Plus with PowerPivot and Power Query (aka Get & Transform)
I Get Data from an Access MDB, to load to a Pivottable.

I check "Add data to the Data Model" and then get a message

"We couldn't get data from the Data Model ... dimension contains a member property with an invalid name: 'Key1' is one of the reserved words"
Googling for that finds nothing. Where is the list of reserved words?

If I do not check that, it creates a PT no problem. So what's the issue with the Data Model?

One suggestion is that it because Key1 is like a cell address. But that would eliminate thousands of real-life field names with one to three letters followed by digits. Is it really limited like that?
