Full control permission but "access denied" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello !

I am the administrator :-( of my sharepoint site "It Service" of my company.
I got the "Full Control" permission, but strangely, I can not access to several lists and sub-site.
How to resolve this problem ?
I don't know where to change the hierarchical permission to my site.
How to inherited permission from their parents and do not use unique permission ?

Thanks in advance for your advice !! :-)

  • Are other users having the same issues?  If you have full control then you should be able to access everything.  I ran into this last week, and it ended up being that we had reached our site quota.  Once we increased the quote then users were able to access everything again.

For troubleshooting, I would try to narrow down the issues - is it just you?  is it just one site/ site collection?  Were you given full control in central admin via web application policy?  How are you on site quota?

  • For instant, I am the only user. The problems occur for lists and one sub-site. I am not the administrator of all site and i do not know if the admin has given me the "full control" in central admin.
