Connecting PWA 2013 with Tally RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear All,

Is there any scope for connecting PWA 2013 with Tally ERP 9 version?

Basically i want that only Cost related information should flow to Tally from PWA 2013.

  • Hello,

This could be quite simple - well from the Project side. In using Project Online use ODATA to get the cost information or if you are using Project Server onprem using the Reporting schema to get the data. Then pass this into Tally. I don't know that system but pass the data in using the API's for updating data in Tally. You will need to key off information that exists in both systems so you might need to create a Project ID field in PWA etc. and make sure the values match in both systems.

  • It will require DEV work, if you don't have the skills in house I would recommend speaking with Microsoft PPM Partner. The Project SDK is not a connecting bridge - it is just documentation and codes sample on how to work with PWA APIs.

  • Dear Paul,

Is there any e.g./white paper for such process automation in PWA?

Let me know with some screenshot or any tutorial so that i can learn & implement this into my organization as i am new to PWA 2013.

  • Hello,

No as this is custom development work - each scenario / requirement is different. I would start with the Project 2013 SDK as this will contain details for the Project ODATA feeds and also the Reporting database schema (if on-prem). See the link below:
