PNRP and Dial UP RRS feed

  • hello guys, i am trying to ping the pnrp seed from behing a dial up connection (traditional modem), the ping fails with the error 0x80980800, teredo stat is qualified and showing me the "Nat : None", does it mean i am not behind a NAT ? and how can i develop peer to peer application for dial up users :S?

  • Some ISP dns servers has problem resolving ipv6 DNS names. Windows default PNRP seed server is pnrpv2.ipv6.microsoft.com. Try to ping to this seed server, if it doesn't resolve. Change your DNS server to which can resolve ipv6 domain names.
