don't use right click and then textbox property, then border and putting some expression.

use this step i hope you will get correct border based on column value.

select(highlight) the textbox and go to properties windows, there you will find border color property, expand the property and put the expression in each section whatever require default, top, bottom, left, right =IIF((Fields!no.Value) is Nothing,"White","Black").

now if you see the preview of report, i hope you will not get border for blank value.

You can try putting like this in the xpression for borders.

    =iff((Fields!komponent.Value) is Nothing,"None","SOLID")

But frankly, this might not look good when there are no borders in your report.

    Thank you, Dear Srikanth!

I found Microsoft Error in RS2008. It would be ask you to test how your RS works?

I select one cell and set properties for border.

The next insert your expression - everything is ok.

When I open it again it still have Solid. No mather when you write None in Expression and open it again it has always Solid.

I think it is bug in system or my RS2008 has local problem.

    Have a nice day!
