Why is VS2010 creating .cs files instead of .vb when I create Linq to SQL classes and have "visual basic" selected? RRS feed

  • Question

  • ...as the title says - I'm unable to create the necessary designer.vb file, it creates designer.cs every time!  What's gone wrong?

Answers

  • Well, dunno what it was, but I cured it by changing target framework to 3.5 then back to 4.0 again. Now it correctly creates .designer.vb

  • Hi CarlEd8,

Accroding to your description, it appears this issue is more related with LINQ to SQL, so I'm going to help move your post to the LINQ to SQL Forum for better support.

    Thanks for your understanding.
