can we restore a on-premises VM in Azure cloud with the Online backup copy?

Question

Hi Team,

i have an MABS installed on-premises to backup our on-premises hyper-v VMs in D2D2C way.

Suppose, my on-premises data center goes offline and want to restore few VMs to Azure cloud, is it possible? 

If so, how will i do it?

Currently, it is not supported scenario to restore on-premises server as an Azure VMs by using Azure Backup.

What are the other options? my MABS server would be down as data center goes offline and will have only the cloud copy of the data backed up

In this case, how will i restore my MABS and VMs?

you can restore the data/VMs to another server from recovery services vault.
