Alerts Explorer - Owner RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to be able to see/edit all alerts using the Alerts Explorer, not just the ones I am the owner of?  We would like to have any developer able to see/modify any alert.  I am aware of the Event Subscription tool, but it would be ideal if the Alerts Explorer could do this.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • Hi Tb,

    Thanks for your post.

Sorry for any inconvenience, as far as I know, the user only can view and edit the alerts which create by himself in Alerts Explorer, we can’t edit the alerts which created by other users in Alerts Explorer.

For this scenario, I suggest you submit it as a suggestion to User Voice site at: http://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio. Microsoft engineers will evaluate them seriously. UserVoice site is the place for feature requests, the product team is tracking this list.

  • There are also a few other solutions that provide more of a global solution.  It requires a little more initial setup but works good.
