USB - determine current USB frame number in user mode Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Not sure if I'm in the right forum, but let me try. I need to synchronize the clock in a Windows USB host with the clock in a USB device. The USB device has an ARM microprocessor and can determine the time of a USB SOF message within a microsecond or so. Is there a way for a user mode Windows 7 program to determine the current frame number? Or the time of frame# changes? There appear to be plenty of ways for a driver to get this information, but I don't want to develop a USB driver, and none of the user to driver communication schemes seem to work for this purpose. Thanks for any help.
