How can I make the "key words" field mandatory in a customized NewForm.aspx SharePoint 2007? RRS feed

  • I've customized the NewForm.aspx page for HelpDesk template in SharePoint 2007 with SharePoint Desinger.  I like to make Key Words lookup filed to be mandatory field.

  • Hello,

    When you create your new look-up field, under the Additional column settings, find the setting "Require that this column contains information: " and enabled it by clicking on the "yes" radio button, then click OK.  Your look-up field will now be required.
