device has failed to start with dsf? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am having problems with softhidreceiver.dll file from vb.net. When it creates my generic hid device from looking at the log files and device manager it fails to start. when I call the vbscript I created it works though and loads the mouse devices correctly and sends input. How can I see if Iam loading the device wrong? I have the log file and when it installs them its exactly the same except in vb.net it fails to start. I would post  c++ code but cannot get softhidreceiver imported into my dll wrapper project.
