  • As far as I know, BizTalk supports all of the security features available in WCF based on the type of WCF service host. In the send port or receive location properties, you can find a security tab which lets you specify message and transport security settings. The security tab looks different for the built-in WCF binding adapters versus the WCF custom adapter, but they both provide all of the options available through WCF.

    Thanks,

  • Hi!

What security features are you looking for? Since the adapters developed using the WCF LOB ASDK are just WCF Bindings, which run in the same process as the caller, there is really no need for any security such as encryption, etc between the caller and the binding. If you want the data flowing over the wire to the LOB to be secure, then your LOB library needs to support some security features.
