  •

    Hello,

I wanted to know if there is a way to know all stored procedures names in a DB using ADO.net (assume I have a connection).

Also I wanted to know how can I find a specific store procedure input parameters and output fields.

    Thanks,

    use your connection's GetSchema/GetOleDbSchemaTable method.

GetSchema collection does what its name says gets DDL(data definition language) info about the database, stored procedures and parameters are DML(data manipulation language).

  • The query is different in all DB because the data type definition is also different ADO.NET should not give you that info.  If you find a solution let me know.
