[Desktop Converter]Desktop Bridge upload error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm getting this error after upload the AppPackages. I'm a individual developer. Any solution to solve this error?

Package acceptance validation error: Apps converted with the Desktop Bridge and that require the .NET Native framework must be pre-compiled by the .NET Native tool chain.

Package acceptance validation error: You don't have permissions to specify the following namespaces in the appx manifest file of the package XXXXUWP_2014.17.5.0_x86.appx: http://schemas.microsoft.com/appx/manifest/foundation/windows10/restrictedcapabilities

Package acceptance validation error: Your developer account doesn’t have permission to submit apps converted with the Desktop Bridge at this time. https://aka.ms/desktopbridgeforwindowsstore

    Thank You

  • Hi Han Ching,

Unlike publishing a general UWP app to windows store, to publish an app converted with the Desktop Bridge, you would need to fill out the form: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/projects/campaigns/desktop-bridge and our team will work closely with you to manage the process of getting your converted app published in the Windows Store.

Please read Package a .NET app by using Visual Studio (Desktop to UWP Bridge) for more details.

    Best Regards,

  • Hi

I have the exact same error and I started by filling out the form a few days ago and followed the guides that were sent to me. What am I doing wrong?

    Best regards
