Access 2016 Report Won't Print Images RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a report with a couple of images (tried linked, embedded, stretched, etc.) and while they show in the preview, the images do not print with the report.

I found reference in a forum to a fix (access2016-kb3114379-fullfile-x86-glb.exe), but it says it doesn't apply to my installation.

    Help???

    Thanks.

  • How big are these images?

What type of images are they?

Try compressing the images (making the file sizes smaller), just as a test, do they appear then?

Also, in case you haven't done the following, try:

"Open the Properties dialog for the control. Change Embedded to Linked then click the ellipses next to the Picture property and select the image." - Scott Gem, MVP

  • I've tried all that. Linked, Embedded, Stretch, etc.

Tried PNG and BMP, little (35K) and big (600K). Nada...

  • Hi Wayne,

Could you share us how did you show images? Did you use an attachment field or an image control? I suggest you try add an attachment field-> create a report based on this table->a report with automatically generated image will show up in print preview view, and try to print it to check.

A screen shot about your report view and image field property would be much helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Edward
