How to get packet length of UDP/ICMP RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I've an UDP/ICMP callout that is not based on FLOW, in the sense of FWPM_LAYER_ALE_FLOW_ESTABLISHED_V4, so when I get  callback from BFE, there is an argument passed in from the engine to the callback typed as void* packet.

On TCP callback using STREAM, I can use  streamPacket = (FWPS_STREAM_CALLOUT_IO_PACKET*)packet; then get the dataLength.

Is there a corresponding type for UDP or should I cast the same way ? Or if there is other ways to get to packet length etc.

    TIA,

    prokash
