  • Hello,

What do you mean by Azure Registered Domain? Do you already have a Domain attached with an Azure Web App?

    Thanks,

  • I agree with Rahber that it would be helpful to have additional information on your current setup. Where is the site hosted right now? Where is the custom domain name hosted right now?

Please provide us with some additional details so we can assist you further. We look forward to your reply.

  • @Velizar, Just checking in to see if you have had a chance to see the previous response from Rahber and Bryan. To better assist you on your query, we need the requested details.

When you provision an Azure WebApp, it assigns a subdomain of azurewebsites.net. You can map an existing domain/new domain to the WebApp and have your users access it using either www.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com as a fully qualified domain name (FQDN).

Checkout these documents for more details on this topic:

Additionally, even without the custom domain, you have SSL enabled for your site. By default, Azure secures the *.azurewebsites.net wildcard domain with a single SSL certificate, so your clients can already access your app with https.
Kindly let me know if I have misunderstood you and help us help you with more details of the question/scenario.
