  • Is it possible for the users of my WP 8.1 App to copy files directly into my Apps AppData folder?
    In the same manner that an iOS user can connect his phone with iTunes and copy files inside the DocumentsLibrary of the App.

    You can copy files into the doc library of the phone. This can be done by using the FileSavePicker class. Here is the MSDN article that shows how this can be done.

    Also here is the list of folders you can access with Storage Picker.

    This doesnt answer my question. I want to save to my apps app data. My apps local folder. On both store and phone.

    IsoStoreSpy requires a developer unlocked phone.

  • Good point. This was not immediately obvious from their site plus the device i tested was in fact unlocked.
