  • do i have to keep all the NET framework for service pack 1 and 2, if im running service pack 3 ?? or am i missunderstanding it / Id like to get read of some of the bulk that mite be slowining my  comp./

  • Yes, as the service packs are incremantal, not cumulative.

    You don't mention which .NET Framework version(s) you have, but they were probably installed to support the Windows programs you use on a daily basis.

    As the .NET Framework provides the managed environment required for the programs to work, I recommend that you do NOT attempt to remove any .NET Framework entries. If you do, the programs that need them will no longer work!

    The frameworks are not programs, per se, so unless you are running very low on disc space, it's unlikely they have anything to do with slow computer performance.
