Changing an App in the store from HTML/JavaScript to XAML RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've got an app in the windows 8 store that is HTML5/JavaScript and am in the process of rewriting it in C#/XAML.  I want to upgrade my existing app and not start a new one.  What steps do I need to follow.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

There are quite lots of differences between c#/xaml and HTML5/JS writing Windows Store app. There isn't a easy way to achieve that. If you look for a start of C#/XAML, I think the following would be help.

  • I should have been more clear on my question.  I understand the difference between c# and javascript. I'm specifically talking about how to bring over the manifest, push server definitions, etc so I can upgrade my current app and not create a new one in the store.
