  • Hi Rizz_mk4,

You can also check the .NET tool logs yourself from the %temp% directory. In that log you can search for errors and then please refer to this blog:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/varungupta/archive/2010/06/22/troubleshooting-net-framework-4-install-failures.aspx

There are some possible error code listed and if you can find the same error, try the solution there to fix this issue.

    Best regards,

    Barry

  • Please provide more information.

Tell us your Windows version and the .NET Framework version you are trying to install.

Further, please provide your install logs as follows:

Please collect your install logs with this:

    http://aka.ms/vscollect

After you run Collect.exe, you'll find vslogs.cab in your %temp% directory. Please upload vslogs.cab to a public site, like OneDrive, and post the link here.
