  • What do you mean saying "addin not working in windows7-outlook 2007 addin."?

Anyway, I'd recommend asking common programming questions on the Visual Basic forum instead. It doesn't matter whether you develop a VSTO based add-in or regular Windows forms application. The BCL classes are used, so it is subject for another common programming forum.

  • Hi Balu526,

I am also inestred in "Now the problem is addin not working in windows7-outlook 2007 addin.". Did you get any error message or could you describe it more detail?

Also could webclient works in a common windows form application? If not, I agree with Eugen Visual Basic forum is more suitble for discussing this kind of issues.

Also note, if you are are doing an time consume-task(such as long running tasks, database connections, or other sorts of network calls) , a good pratice is that you start another thread for it.

    Hope it is helpful.

    Regards & Fei
