Bootable Windows USB stack selected but USB missing RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have selected the Bootable Windows USB stack package and proceeded to the drive selection. I've tried 3 different USB sticks, formated NTFS, FAT32 and unformated. In every case it does not detect and list the USB device for an installation destination.

  • Can you try hitting Shift + F10 or opening one of the browse dialog boxes and see if you can see the drive at all? I'm trying to determine if you can't see the drive at all in WinPE, or if IBW isn't detecting the drive as a potential destination drive.

  • How was the bootable disk created? Try creating it with Windows 7 diskpart utility. Also try to boot from that disk as standalone.
