    i am getting following errors to run WCF 4.0 web services.

    Cross domain javascript callback is not supported in authenticated services.

    after commenting following lines in web.config file now wcf project is working fine. what is the wrong in my side.

    The error message shows that cross domain javascript callback is not supported in authenticated service. You need to set the crossDomainScriptAccessEnabled property as false. Thanks.

    If your wcf service is getting called from same domain (not from sub domain or any other domain) then you can set 

    crossDomainScriptAccessEnabled="false"

    however if your service is called from multiple domains you can not set it as false. 

    You will have to allowed jsonp calls for service.
