Get Pointer position as location on Map in Windows 10? [c#] RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I understand that in previous version of Bing.Maps and such there was the method TryPixelToLocation that could be used to translate a pointer position to a Map Location but this does not seem to exist for Windows 10 Universal apps (Unless I'm missing something), as such I'm having a hard time translating the pointer location to a location on the map (Latitude/Longitide), which is a bit of a pain. Is there an alternative method that has replaced TryPixelToLocation or some workaround wizardry? I've been stuck on this for a short while now!

Sorry if this has quite an obvious solution that I've somehow missed, I'm very new to working with Maps so it's all a lot to learn in a short period!

Any help would be majorly appreciated. Thanks.
