My folder has all permission then also i get the error access denied

Is it prompting you to logon or just displaying that message right away? What is the exact message? Do you want it to prompt you to logon? Is there anything appearing in the System or Application event logs?Tuesday, May 8, 2007 8:48 AM -

After the 3rd prompt, what do you see ? 401.1? login failed or what kind of error msgs?

anything in event viewer? also test a simple hello.html. put the file at c:\inetpub\wwwroot\
then test browse http://localhost/hello.html
what do you get?
