Nothing happens after deploying react app to azure web-app using local git RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello!

I have been using local git to deploy my react app. When I push to the server, I get a successful response, and all the files appear in the home/site/repository folder in Azure. However, when I navigate to the app's url, I get the same welcome HTML that I got before deployment. Are there steps that I am missing?

    Thanks

    Victor

  • Hi Victor,

Is there a specific documentation you were following? Is your local Git deployment for your app connected to Azure?

To enable local Git deployment for your app with the Kudu build server, navigate to your app in the Azure portal.

In the left navigation of your app page, click Deployment Center > Local Git > Continue

Click Kudu for Build Provider >  Finish. Azure will generate a local git repo for you and give you a remote link to point your react app to. Please this blog for more information.  Hope that helps
