Although the post is quite old, but it can help someone.

In crystal Report sap version 10, as far as I know, there is also OLEDB object type option in the Insert section, and from the code behind, or in the formula, value can be set up, by using the parameter value from code behind. The parameter holded the path of the image, and it can change at run time based on some condition.
