  • Question

  • Dear All,

I know if I want to set time zone as USA under ICE, I can type "Pacific Standard Time" under "7 OOBE System".

But if I want to set time zone as "Coordinated Universal Time", how can I set it under ICE.

I have tried to type "Coordinated Universal Time" under "7 OOBE System". But I still can't modify it.

    thx

hi,I find it is interesting that you can edit TimeZone(Under Core -> Shell-Setup) under the filter 4 Specialize or 7 OOBE System, then TimeZone will have two different values.

  • Dear WESfan,

    Thanks for your replay,

Now, I can type "Pacific Standard Time" to set TimeZone as Pacific Standard Time.

But my problem is what should I type that can set TimeZone as Coordinated Universal Time.

    thx

  • Dear WESfan,

thanks for that you discuss the problem with me.

I have tried to type "Coordinated Universal Time(Greenwich Mean Time)" in time zone.

but it still can't set "Coordinated Universal Time" automatically  under IBW.

  • Hi Tung,

From the help page of TimeZone, if you run tzutil on Windows 7 machine, you will see output similar to this

    :
(UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)
    Pacific Standard Time
    :
    (UTC) Coordinated Universal Time
    UTC

This tells me that you should get coordinated universal time if you type UTC as value of TimeZone.

    Hope this helps.

    Matt
