The 0908 HealthVault SDK backward comaptibility with HealthVault SDK Beta RRS feed

  • I am developing an application based on Healthvault SDK Beta. If I download and install The 0908 HealthVault SDK , will it cause any problems in my current under development application?

  • I have read this article. It does not mention anything about backward compatibility. My application was running fine. I downloaded and installed the assocoated SDK with 0908 release and did a build on my solution. Now when I run in browser I get thes error:

    The request timed out while waiting for the response.

    Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

    Exception Details: System.Net.WebException: The request timed out while waiting for the response.

  • Can you please try reducing the number of full items returned using the MaxFullItemsReturnedPerRequest in HealthRecordFilter?

  • To the original question-- it is very highly unlikely that moving to the latest (official v1.0) SDK will cause any problems for you, especially if you've been working with one of the more recent beta SDK releases.  It's highly backwards compatible and the only areas you may see changes won't cause a timeout like you're seeing above.  It's likely there's something else going on.
