sorry mate, it's not as simple as that.

can it be done? Sure! i've done it and it took me 30 mins to do and test.

The code is not the issue -> it's HOW u want to send an mms ringtone and with WHO? U need to find an mms gateway/provider. This generally costs $$$. I'm in melbourne, australia and use an aussie company. They have a .NET webservice which i reference in my ASP.Net website code. Very easy :)

I load up the binary file (the ringtone) and pass that byte array ( byte[] ) as one of the many parameters to the webservice, along with the phone number, my account number and password, etc. simple.

first, find a gateway / provider that can send mms/sms for you.
second, find out how to give them the data (webservice, POST, etc).
    third code away.

oh, i use 3gp as the method to send my mms (not sure if that is good/bad). u can send wav and mp3 also i think. Not sure if all phones like that, though. Remeber the provider will prolly just want a byte array which represents the ringtone data. So what format the binary data is in, that's up to you and your target audience.
