Excel.2016 Freezepanes Does Not Work RRS feed

    it looks like Excel.2016 FreezePanes , needs ActiveWindow  iconfused.gif

    It works on EXCEL.2013..........OK

    If ObjXL.ActiveWindow.FreezePanes Then ObjXL.ActiveWindow.FreezePanes = False
    objWST.ROWS(nRow & ":" & nRow).Select
    '---------------------------------------------
    ObjXL.ActiveWindow.FreezePanes = True
    ' ERR =  1004,Unable to set the FreezePanes property of the Window class...!

    Also Excel SET_FOREGROUND_WINDOW (if PC locked)      , the same Error

    I'm afraid you don't have to write "ObjXL".
    If (ActiveWindow.FreezePanes) Then
        ActiveWindow.FreezePanes = False
    This will be OK.

    If the Sheet-WINDOW is not in the FOREGROUND, allways ERROR...!!!!

    It works on EXCEL.2010..........OK,

    It seems like EXCEL.2016 PROBLEM....... !!! 

    ObjXL...i am using ACCESS.automation, not Excel Direct

    1. Open Excel
    2. click file menu
    3. Click "Options" (at the bottom)
    4. Click "Trust Center"
    5. Click "Trust Center Settings..."
    6. Click "Protected View"
    7. Un-check the second box "Enable Protected View for files located in potentially unsafe locations"
    8. Try again
