Auto Launch Bluetooth phone Manager (iPAQ and WinMo 6) RRS feed

  • Question

  •

    Hello. (Sorry for my English).

I have a PDA (iPAQ 216) with Windows Mobile 6. And I using C# with CF 3.5 to write my code.

When I'm using some app that uses internet (Internet Explorer, Live Messenger, etc), automatically launch Bluetooth Phone Manager aplication, uses the default connection (my cellphone) and done!

In my app, I'm using sockets to connect to internet. It works perfectly when the iPAQ is already connected to internet using any via (bluetooth, wifi, craddle, etc), but when the iPAQ is not connected to internet the Bluetooth Phone Manager is not launched. I thought that the O.S had the ability to auto-launch the Bluetooth Phone Manager whenever app need to use internet. Obviously I was wrong.

The question is ¿There is some way to launch the Bluetooth Phone Manager with some code in my App? ¿There is some kind of API that allow that? I dunno.

    Thanks!

  • I'm not sure what you meant by "Bluetooth Phone Manager". It seems that the Connection Manager is what you've been looking for. Please read the following article:
