    Hi Guys,

I know that crosstabs are just for summaries. But is it possible to use a crosstab for daily reports given two dates? It's more like a details summary.

    Hi Musikero11,

Cross-tab reports provide the support to extract data for decision making. It is basically used when you want to show data table format as a summary.

after making cross tab, you will show/hide the summary part at row level as well as column level by going CrossTab Expert - > customize style.

Simple create the dataset as following

    Name        Center       Qty

    Brando       Center1        5

    Brando       Center2         10

    Jhenelhyn     Center1        6

    Jhenelhyn      Center2       14

and add this datasource to a crosstabl, colum as center, row as name and details as qty. Total is built in.

    Hi Friend,

As cnranasinghe said, if your data or sp is not complicated. then it is good to make sp same as you need output in report.

Because it is faster to show result.

In report, cross tab take some time to generate output and formatting.
