ADF Debug Pipeline - Stuck, unable to cancel

    Question

  • I have the situation where a pipeline calls another pipeline, passing some parameters. The inner pipeline is seemingly stuck but using the Cancel button does not stop the pipeline run.

Starting a new debug pipeline run raises the error "SandboxPipelineAlreadyCreated" and then the cancel button becomes available again, with no effect.

The output window shows no activity on the inner pipeline.

Since there is no activity this pipeline run will be unlikely to timeout for many days (assuming 7?). I set most tasks with a low timeout but since no task is actually running what timeout will apply?

I can find no way to get out of the situation. Is this a known issue?

    What is the billing implication?

    Regards, Ben

  • Hi, thanks for the reply. The issue is ongoing but I have cloned the pipeline as a workaround for now. The old pipeline is obviously still marked as running though.

I will switch to email to the linked address.
