Biztalk 2006 R2 How to install or access EDI transports for HIPAA - 00401A1

Question
-
I am converting from the Biztalk accelerator to the native HIPAA support
I have the Schema - xsd_schema... , but can not figure out how to have the 00401a1 document types appear under Send port -> Type - EDI -> Configure -> Supported Document Types for X12. I found a post that was similar, but the solution was to install the adapter - not a solution for me.Friday, October 2, 2009 5:05 PM

Hi,
If you have installed Biztalk server 2006 R2. Then you need not to add supported document types for X12 in Send port. Make a send with file adapter, Deploy the schema for the Hipaa document. it will process as a simple X12 document.
You can try following x12 tutorial, Hipaa works same as X12 type:

You could handle without HIPAA Accelerator, just add the file adapter at send port. This will work out for BTS 2006 R2 which supports the HIPAA transactions.
